Mr. Masood Siddiqui
Managing Director

Mr. Masood Siddiqui has vast experience of over 25 years in the field of oil and gas exploration and production sector of Pakistan. He started his career with M/s Halliburton Services and worked at Islamabad and Karachi as well as Duncan Oklahoma base camp, USA. He spent 11 years working in various capacities in the hierarchy of BP Pakistan (formerly Union Texas Pakistan Inc.). Thereafter he joined Lasmo Oil Pakistan Ltd (now ENI) which further enriched his experience. He also worked with Premier-KUFPEC (PKP) Pakistan B.V as Principal Officer KUFPEC Pak B.V. and as Director Kadanwari 2, a company of PKP incorporated in Japan and CEO of PKP. Mr. Siddiqui resigned from the company in 2006 and became engaged with his private endeavor Maymar Housing Services (Pvt) Limited.  Mr. Siddiqui qualified as BS in Petroleum Engineering from University of Oklahoma, Norman USA in 1985. He has also acquired professional training in wide variety of disciplines from foreign and local institutions in the field of professional management, petroleum economics, law, material management and many others.  Mr. Siddiqui remained the Vice Chairman of PEPPCA 2004-2005. He is a member of SPE & PAPG, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP).

Mr. Muhammed Riaz Khan
Executive Director

Mr. Riaz Khan is serving as Executive Director. He graduated from UET, Lahore in Petroleum and Gas Engineering. He has over 30 years diversified and rich experience in E & P sector specially in leadership/managerial skills, petroleum engineering, production, joint ventures, EOR/IOR projects and has supervised execution of several critical oil & gas field development projects. He has attended extensive advance courses on Management, Production, Project Development and Petroleum Economics from, USA, Canada and Oxford UK. He is Director on the Board of Mari Petroleum Company Limited and has also served as Director on PGCL Board. He has authored/co-authored and presented several technical papers. He is an active member of PEC, PIP and SPE (USA).

Mr. Masood Nabi
Executive Director (JV)

Mr. Masood Nabi joined OGDCL in June 2009. Mr. Nabi was previously a senior investment banker with significant experience both internationally and in Pakistan. Mr. Nabi has expertise in the areas of strategic alliances / joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. Over the years Mr. Nabi has served as strategic advisor to many major international companies in the industrial and energy sectors. Mr. Nabi received Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Zahid Imran Farani
Executive Director /Special Assistant to MD/CEO

Mr. Zahid Imran Farani has been Executive Director /Special Assistant to MD/CEO since March 2013.Previously he has been working as Executive Director (Exploration) since March 2012. Mr. Farani holds an M.Sc Degree in Geophysics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He joined OGDCL in April 1978 as Assistant Geophysicist.

Mr. Muhammad Rafi
Executive Director ( Finance) / CFO

Mr. Muhammad Rafi has diversified work experience of more than 36 years at senior management positions in Finance, Accounts, Banking, Corporate Affairs and Internal Audit. He is a qualified Management Accountant and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP), Fellow Member of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICS) and Diplomaed Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan (IBP).

Mr. Rafi joined OGDCL in 1988 and has served on various senior positions including Acting Executive Director (HR/Admin), Acting Executive Director (Finance)/CFO, General Manager (Finance) and General Manager (Internal Audit).

Mr. Rafi is also the President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) - an apex body of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) for the year 2012. Besides, he chairs the SAFA committee on Governmental and Public Sector Entities Accounting. He is a past President of ICMAP and past Chairman of ICAP-ICMAP Joint Committee. Mr. Rafi has also represented Pakistan as member of the Public Sector Committee of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) for two years (2000-02). He has presented many papers at national and international conferences and seminars

Mr.Shamim Iftikhar Zaidi
Executive Director (Drilling Operations & Services)

Mr.Shamim Iftikhar Zaidi has been appointed Executive Director (Drilling Operations & Services) as of November 2012. He previously served as Acting Executive Director (Drilling Operations & Services) since July 2012 and General Manager (Drilling Operations & Services) since February 2008. He joined the Company in June 1984 and held various positions within Drilling Operations, Rig and Drilling Tools repair & maintenance. Mr.Zaidi is Graduate Mechanical Engineer from KPK University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar.

Mr. Khalid Subhani
Executive Director (Production)

Mr. Khalid Subhani has been appointed as Executive Director (Production) as of November, 2012. Previously he served as Acting Executive Director (Production), General Manager (Commercial) and General Manager (Process & Plants). He joined OGDCL as Assistant Engineer (Chemical) in January 1977. During his long association with the company, he served on various senior positions. Mr. Subhani earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Punjab University in 1975.

Mr. Javed Hasan
Executive Director (Exploration)

Mr. Javed Hasan joined OGDCL as Assistant Geologist (Exploration) in 1976. He holds a M.Sc Geology Degree (specialization in Petroleum and Structural Geology) from Punjab University Lahore. He also holds a Diploma in Exploration and Petroleum Engineering. He is currently serving as Executive Director (Exploration).

Mr. Muhammad Aslam Khan Niazi
Executive Director (Services)

Mr. Muhammad Aslam Khan Niazi joined OGDCL as Sr. Engineer (Process) in 1993. He holds a B.Sc Engineering (Chemical) Degree from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. He is currently serving as Executive Director (Services) and has also served as GM (Supply Chain Management).

Mr. Tahir Shaukat
Executive Director (HR)

Mr. Tahir Shaukat joined OGDCL as Junior Engineer in 1979. He holds a B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, and MBA (Human Resources) from Allama Iqbal Open University.
He is currently serving as Executive Director (HR) since May 2013. Previously he had served as General Manager (Construction & Engineering Support Services Department)

Mr. Rais Ahmed
General Manager (Exploration Research)

Mr. Rais Ahmed joined OGDCL in December 1976. He holds a MS.c Degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA and also holds a MS.c and a BS.c (Honors) Degrees in Geology from University of Karachi.

He is currently serving as General Manager (Exploration Research), since 1st July 2012.

Mrs .Eram Ali Aziz
General Manager (Finance)

Mrs. Eram Ali Aziz joined OGDCL in August 1977. She holds an MBA (Major in Finance) Degree from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi.
She is currently serving as General Manager (Finance) since September 2012 and also served as Company Secretary OGDCL, Manager (Finance), Manager (Joint Venture Accounts), Manager (Accounts) and Manager (Budgeting & Final Accounts).

Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Shaikh
General Manager (Drilling Operations)

Mr. M. Iqbal Shaikh joined OGDCL in 1978 and has served on various positions in the Drilling Department. He has a Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Houston Texas USA and a B.Sc Degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. He is currently serving as General Manager (Drilling Operations) since 1st December 2012.

Mr. Aijaz Muhammad Khan
General Manager (Systems)

Mr. Aijaz Muhammad Khan joined the Company in 1978. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration, from University of Punjab, Lahore. He is currently serving as General Manager (Systems) since March 2012 and also served as General Manager, Incharge, (HR/Admin), General Manager (OGTI), General Manager (Commercial/ Compensation & Benefit /Industrial Relation).

Mr. Arshad Mahmood Khan
General Manager (Reservoir Management)

Mr. Arshad Mahmood Khan joined OGDCL in July 1980. He holds a BS.c Degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. He is currently serving as General Manager (Reservoir Management) since February, 2013 and has also served as General Manager (Production Operations).

Mr. Rashid Mahmud
General Manager (PE & FD)

Mr. Rashid Mahmud joined OGDCL in 1982 as Assistant Engineer (Production). He has a BS Degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. He is currently serving as General Manager (PE & FD) since 1st July 2012.

Mr. Muhammad Ayaz
General Manager (Internal Audit)

Mr. Muhammad Ayaz joined OGDCL in July, 1982. He is a qualified Management Accountant and is a Fellow Member of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan.
He has also worked as Manager (Joint Venture Accounts). He is currently serving as General Manager (Internal Audit).

Mr. Amjad Saeed Yazdanie
General Manager (Joint Venture and Business Development)

Mr. Amjad Saeed Yazdanie joined OGDCL as Assistant Engineer in 1982. He Holds a BSc Degree in Petroleum & Gas Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore & an MS Degree in Petroleum from University of Southern California. He is currently serving as General Manager (Joint Venture and Business Development).

Mr. Naseer A. Rana
General Manager (Commercial)

Mr. Naseer A. Rana joined OGDCL as Assistant Engineer (Production) in 1982. He has a B.Sc. Degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. He has also served as General Manager (Production Operations). He is currently serving as G.M (Commercial) since 13th May, 2013.

Mr. Asad Ahmad Asad
General Manager (Administration)

Mr. Asad Ahmad Asad joined OGDCL as Assistant Engineer in August 1982. He holds a B.Sc Degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.

He is currently serving as General Manager (Administration) since 8th February 2013 and has also served as Manager (Production) , Manager (Projects) & Field Manager in various production fields.

Syed Ahmad Naeem
General Manager (Geophysical Services)

Mr. Ahmad Naeem joined OGDCL as Assistant Geophysicist in 1982. He holds an M.Sc. Degree in Geophysics and a Bachelors Degree in Law from University of Punjab. He is currently serving as General Manager (Geophysical Services) since December 2012 and has also served as Manager (Concession Management) and Manager (Seismic operations).

Mr. Bashir Ahmed
General Manager (Geological Services)

Mr. Bashir Ahmed joined OGDCL as Assistant Logging Engineer in 1982. He holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from Government College Lahore. He is currently serving as General Manager (Geological Services) since July 2012.

Ms. Shabina Anjum
General Manager (Strategic Business Planning)

Ms. Shabina Anjum joined the Company as Corporate Planning Officer in 1983 with an MBA (Marketing) Degree from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. She is currently serving as General Manager (Strategic Business Planning), and has also served as General Manager (Supply Chain Management) and General Manager (Oil &Gas Training Institute).
Presently she has been nominated as Focal point for CEDAW (Convention for Elimination of Discrimination against Women) and is also responsible for advocating the rights of women, minorities and special persons in the Company.

Mr. Zahid Bakhtiar
General Manger (Projects)

Mr. Zahid Bakhtiar joined OGDCL in 1984. He has worked at various positions with in the Company. He holds a Bs. Degree in Engineering from Camborne School of Mines, UK. He also holds a Diploma in Offshore Petroleum Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen U.K.
He is currently serving as General Manager (Projects). .

Mr. Khan Alam
General Manager (HR-Operations)

Mr. Khan Alam joined OGDCL as Assistant Geologist in May 1985. He holds an M.Sc Degree in Structural/Petroleum Geology from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is currently serving as General Manager (H.R-Operations).

Capt. (R) M. Ajmal Khan
General Manager (Projects))

Captain(R) M. Ajmal Khan joined OGDCL in 1985.He is a Mechanical Engineer from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. During his 28 years of service in OGDCL, he has worked in various capacities in Drilling, Plants & Process, Admin and Projects Departments. He is currently serving as General Manager (Projects) since July 2012.

Mr. Irfan Babar Khan
General Manager (Corporate Social Responsibility)

Mr.Irfan Babar Khan joined OGDCL in 1985. He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Sciences and Bachelors Degree in Law from Punjab University. He also holds a Diploma in Public Relations from UK. He is currently serving as General Manager (Corporate Social Responsibility) since 1st December 2012 and has also served as Manager (Admin/HR), Manager (Public Relation) and Manager I/c (Security).

Mr. Arshad Malik
General Manager HR (Organizational Development)

Mr. Arshad Malik joined OGDCL as Assistant Engineer in June 1985. He holds a BS.c Degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.

He is currently serving as General Manager (Human Resource Organizational Development) since 21st March 2013 and has also served as Manager (Production) and Field Manager in various production fields .

Mr.Imran Shaukat Ali Khan
General Manager (Process & Plants)

Mr. Imran Shaukat Ali Khan joined OGDCL in 1987. He holds a Master’s Degree in Thermal System Engineering, from University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila and a B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.

He is currently serving as General Manager (Process & Plants) since December 2012.

Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Ansari
General Manager (HSEQ)

Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Ansari joined OGDCL in 1988 as Principal Engineer (Safety). He holds a BE Chemical Engineering Degree from Dawood College of Engineering & Technology (Karachi University). He is currently serving as General Manager HSEQ since 2011.

Mr. Qamar - Ul- Haq
General Manager (Drilling Services)

Mr. Qamar-ul-haq joined OGDCL as Senior Engineer in 1988. He holds a B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Engineering College, University Of Peshawar.

He is currently serving as General Manager (Drilling Services) since 1st December 2012 and has also served as Manager (Engineering and Field Machinery), Manager (Pipe line and Fabrication), Manager (CSR) and Manager (HSEQ) .

Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad
General Manager (Accounts)

Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad joined OGDCL in 1992 and has been serving in various capacities in the Finance & Accounts Department. He is also a law graduate and also holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Islamic Studies from University of Karachi.

He is a qualified Management Accountant and is currently serving as General Manager (Accounts) since July 2012.

Dr. Mohammad Saeed Khan Jadoon
General Manager Oil & Gas Training Institute (OIST)

Dr. Mohammad Saeed Khan Jadoon joined the Company as Senior Reservoir Engineer in 1993. He holds DIC and Ph.D in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, University of London, UK.
He is currently serving as General Manager Oil & Gas Training Institute (OGTI). Prior joining to OGTI, he served as Manager Reservoir Engineering, Reserves and Economic Evaluation .

Lt Col ® Shafqat Hussain Gondal
General Manager (Security)

Lt Col®Shafqat Hussain Gondal joined OGDCL in September 2008 as General Manager (Communication) .He has a BE (Telecommunication) Degree from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore and BSc (Hons) in War Studies from Balochistan University, Quetta. He is currently serving as General Manager (Security) since March 2010.

Mr. Salman Amin
General Manager (Finance)

Mr. Salman Amin joined OGDCL in September 2009 as General Manager (Audit) . He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA-UK).
He has also served as General Manager (SBP) & General Manager (Commercial). He is currently serving as General Manager (Finance) since 13th May, 2013.

Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak
Company Secretary / General Manager (Legal Services)

Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak joined OGDCL in 2011. He holds a Master’s Degree in Law from University of Wolverhampton and Bachelors Degree in Law (Honors) from University of London, United Kingdom.
He is currently serving as Company Secretary and General Manager (Legal Services).
