MAIN OBJECTIVES
To assist in formation evaluation by chemical analysis of formation fluids.
To help trouble shooting on the basis of analysis data by assigning reasons.
To carryout onsite testing for taking right decisions on real time.
To help resolve controversies in testing the crude for pricing at refineries.
EQUIPMENT/FUNCTION
Chemical analysis of water (formation, waste, drinking) and allied testing.
Testing of crude oil/condensate oil.
Onsite testing of H2S, SRB’s & GAB’s.
Corrosion coupons analysis.
To analyze the sludge & scales samples etc. received from vessels & pipelines.
To address the controversies in testing of crude oil for pricing at refineries.
B.O.D. system.
C.O.D. system.
Major NEQS (National Environment Quality Standards) w.r.t Effluents by Spectrophotometer DR4000/uv.
Compatibility of waters to be used for flooding for EOR/disposal wells etc.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Earning of millions of rupees to the company due to participation of analytical professionals in joint sampling & testing of crude oil.
Saving of revenues due to in house analytical skills amounts in millions since 1963.
Earnings from joint ventures also amounts in millions being the operator.
FUTURE PLANS
To extend the existing base for marketing the services to Oil Industry.
To extend the existing base to develop an Environment Lab subject to availability of requisite manpower and allied facilities.
