	Delineation of oil-windows, immature or post-mature sediments in Sedimentary Basins.
	Petroleum yield of drilled formations.
	Identification of Migrated Hydrocarbons.

	Thermal Maturity (Tmax oC) (Oil Window Immature Zone).
	Hydrogen & Oxygen Indices.

	Migrated Oil presences.
	LECO CR-412 Carbon Analyzer
	Total Organic Carbon (TOC) determination (For screening prior to pyrolysis analysis).

ACHIEVEMENTS

	Around 250 Geochemical Investigation Reports on outcrops and test wells drilled by OGDCL and JV Operator since 1979.
	Conducted 28500 TOC Analysis
	Conducted 9000 Pyrolysis Analysis
	Database management of results and reports of Geochemistry Branch since 1979.

FUTURE PLANS

	To introduce photometer microscope for Vitrinite Reflectance to substantiate thermal maturity studies.
	To induct Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectroscopy equipment to correlate Oil-Oil and Oil-Source Rock Studies.
