HEALTHCARE
We firmly believe that primary health care is an absolute pre-requisite for sustainable socio-economic development. Our health care initiatives are spread over all the four Provinces. A large population benefits from our health care initiatives nation-wide. Free healthcare services are provided to the inhabitants of operational areas where the Company carry out its E&P activities. Keeping in view the increasing attendance of patients, the Company has established social welfare dispensaries around its field. Along with education, OGDCL has identified health care as a key initiative for the Company’s CSR activities.
OGDCL under its CSR Health Program initiated a project in 2021-22 and established surgical/ awareness Eye Camps at 27 locations across OGDCL Fields and follow up camps through Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital.
The Company in 2022-23 again initiated a project to establish 33 free eye camps at 33 different locations of OGDCL. The schedule of eye camps is as under:
