Post Disaster Rehabilitation


As a responsible corporate entity, Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), has always been at the forefront of relief and rehabilitation efforts in times of natural calamities such as earthquake, Covid-19 pandemic, droughts and flood.
OGDCL’s first disaster relief activities go back in 2005, when Company donated in Prime Minister Relief Fund for earthquake-affected areas in Kashmir region.
During the current climate induced catastrophic floods across the country; OGDCL has responded by extending relief to flood victims in the form of provision of donations, food hampers, medicines , tents, Hygiene kits, and winter baggage’s to the flood affected communities of Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to mitigate their suffering.
OGDCL has so far has spent Rs. 115 Million for flood relief activities and has allocated additional Rs. 100 million to donate in PMs Flood Relief Fund

 

 

OGDCL Donated Rs.20 Million to Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Baluchistan for flood affected families. 

 

Food hampers, Tents and medicines worth Rs.06 million to communities affected by flood near OGDCL Field in District Rajanpur, Tando Alam, Ghotki and Hyderabad
